Clinic Records Station volunteers arrive in time to ensure the station is set-up and operational prior to the start of anesthesia. After signing in, volunteers collect the Clinic Records Supply Kit and set up the station. Volunteers reconcile all medical records, veterinary examinations, rabies certificates, clinic logs and other documents to optimize care for the cats during and after the clinic. These records facilitate clinic planning and continual improvement of protocols and policies while meeting state veterinary board requirements.
Infectious Cat Alert
If an infectious cat (URI, ringworm or other infectious condition) is inadvertently handled during the flow of healthy cats through the clinic, all station staff must change their gloves, and disinfect the table drapes before handling or treating healthy cats.
