The Internet’s (and Gainesville’s) Most Meowvelous Moment – And You Are There!
Gainesville, FL – Cats have taken over the internet and will take over Gainesville Saturday, November 14!
Strut over to the Hippodrome Theatre’s Cinema for the Internet Cat Video Festival, curated by the Walker Art Center of Minneapolis and hosted by the local nonprofit, Operation Catnip.
This pawstigious event will feature approximately 100 internet cat videos culled from nominations by the public in the categories of Comedy, Drama, Animated, Musical, Action, Vintage, and Documentary. Organized by Will Braden, the creator of the Henri, le Chat Noir videos and recipient of the festival’s first Golden Kitty (People’s Choice) Award, this event is purrfect for the whole family!
Don’t be a grumpy cat and miss out on this great, fun and unique event on Saturday, November 14! Your ticket will guarantee you a reserved seat in the cinema, entertainment, art-cativities and access to the Hipp’s cozy and classy venue space, the Basement. There you can hide from the pawpurrazzi, nosh on noms and bid on silent auction items.
General Admission is $15 , Student discount is $12 and seating is limited. Children 3 years old and under are free and must sit on their parent/guardian’s lap. Show times include Saturday, Nov. 14 at 2:30 p.m., 4:25 p.m. and 6:20 p.m.
